Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing PropTech start-up based in Central London.The business are undergoing a growth period and as such are looking for a Lead React Developer to lead a small UI team.You will be working alongside the Back End Developers, QA Engineers and Product Owner in their cross-functional SCRUM team. This is a very hands on role, and you will be kept busy with a range of day-to-day sprint tasks, stand-alone projects and improvements to the UI.You will give direction to the UI team, and you will be involved in architectural decision making when it comes to improving the Front End application. The business are looking for someone who is passionate about working in a small but growing team to continue evolving the product using some of the latest technology available. Key experience for this position is commercial expertise in React, exceptional Javascript experience, as well as good working knowledge of application state management. To get a feel for the wider environment and Engineering practices, knowledge of the following would be advantageous. Ideal Experience • Excellent commercial JavaScript experience • Strong React experience (use of hooks is preferable) • Good working knowledge of Redux / other state management tools • Solid understanding of reusable/component-based development (ES6 modules/imports) • Ideally have worked in a Lead position • Experience coaching/mentoring more junior developers The right sort of Developer will be collaborative, easy going and methodical, someone who confident expressing an opinion and comfortable bringing ideas to the table to help improve the front end.
