Overview
To support the ongoing development and embedding of the Quality Assurance framework within the operating model of integrated working for Children's Services. QA has a key role in relation to performance management and driving service improvement To support monitoring of performance indicators across Children's Services relating to statutory and local requirements. To assist in the preparation of policy and procedure developments within the directorate. To work with CYPS Teams to ensure a quality performance framework, including audit, is in place, based on statutory and local requirements. Contribute to the development, population and maintenance of information systems and evidence bases to underpin service capacity for self assessment. Monitor outcomes in those areas against inspection criteria and feedback to improve the service delivered. Contribute to reports for elected Members, senior officers and boards as required. Contribute to the collection, monitoring and reporting on progress against Children's services national and local performance indicators (with specific reference to TWF MOSAIC pathway) Work with Business Support colleagues to assist the delivery of QA framework. Liaise with Council Business Intelligence Team to promote a culture of effective use of performance data across children's services and with partners. Contribute to reviews and development of policies and procedures for CYPS
