Quality Technician - Aycliffe 2 positions - 6 Month Contract - £15.34ph Groomfield Recruitment are looking for 2 Quality Technicians to join a busy Manufacturing team in the Aycliffe area. The contract will be on an initial contract basis for a fixed 6 month period with the view to extend. They will be working the 3-shift, which is 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. The successful Quality Technician will need: - To be able to analyse data - Good report writing skills and IT literate If any Quality Technician's come from a manufacturing background with 1-2 years industry this will be an considered a huge advantage for the role. Quality Technician working hours: Working on a three shift pattern consisting of 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 Although will need flexibility to work any shift pattern including Continentals (4 on 4 off) Quality Technician responsibilities and duties: To perform and support QC activities related to the manufacture of Disposable and Reusable products. Key skills required for Quality: Essential • EHS conscious, engagement in behavioural safety programs • Excellent attention to detail & able to analyse/understand data • Understanding and application of continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques • Competent IT skills • Competent in report writing • Good organisational skills and progress chaser • Mathematically competent • Excellent communication skills throughout all levels of the organisation • Familiarity and understanding of test equipment • Able to work alone, demonstrating initiative and can interact well as part of a team Desirable • Working knowledge of Outlook, e-Matrix and SAP • Working towards CQI qualification • Laboratory experience This role will be perfect for someone looking to get into employment as soon as possible, if you would like to considered for the role, please submit a copy of your most recent CV.
