Overview
Quality Engineer - 6 Months - Aycliffe area - Mon - Thurs 8.30 - 4.30pm and Friday 3.30pm Groomfield Recruitment are looking for a Quality Engineer to work on a 6 months contract with the view to renew. The ideal person will have experience working in a Quality organisation with a strong work ethic, team player attitude and someone who can be self motivated. Quality Engineer responsibilities: The main elements of the Extruding/Filtrate/Moulding Quality Engineering role are as follows: Key member of Process NPI programmes New test method development Coordinate Product Quality risk assessment (PFMEA) Ownership of all high-level Product Quality Technical Documentation Supporting Internal Audits CAPA resolution Ensuring quality of product during manufacture Leading quality improvement projects Reporting on quality measurements indices Quality Engineer skills, experience and key capabilities: Motivated, self starter with good initiative High level of integrity Advanced documentation skills High degree of attention to detail Travel as required by the role Ability to consistently deliver against targets Reliable and dependable Enthusiastic with a positive attitude Quality Engineer required Qualifications: Technical degree (or equivalent) or relevant work experience required Lean Six Sigma Green belt CQI Qualification The successful candidates will be appointed on an assignment for an initial period of 6 months. To be reviewed in line with business needs and personal performance.
