Overview

Your new company Your new company is an independent and employee-owned, specialist re\insurance Lloyd's Broker with headquarters in London. They have 16 offices around the world, Including Canada, Australia, Latin America, Caribbean and the US and employ over 375 people. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Junior Claims Broker Technician to join their established team. Your new role Your new role working as a Junior Claims Broker Technician means you will be responsible for creating and maintain claims and accounts files and inputting document details on to the in-house system. You will assess and process claims and premiums, as well as producing and sending advice, collection, premium and treaty documentation. You will be responsible for dealing with market, client and internal queries, conduct business meetings with clients and reinsurers. You will broke advices and collections to London Market, obtain agreement to advices and collections via CLASS/ECF system, and liaise with the Insurance Accounts Department to ensure prompt payments of claims and premiums. Other duties will include collecting funds from clients and settle to reinsurers within Terms of Trade, producing accurate statistics where required and general office duties and ad hoc tasks as required. What you'll need to succeed Your new role working as a Junior Claims Broker Technician you will ideally have previous experience handling North American Property Claims from first notification of loss to settlement, as well as experience processing premiums. Ideally, you will have excellent IT skills and be able to pick up new systems quickly. You will be confident in your ability to effectively work alongside your team members and interact with others well. You will be confident in your own time management skills and be able to manage your workloads efficiently.
