Overview
Consumer Additions are working with an exciting, successful and fast-paced e-commerce business who's global reach has enabled a significant increase in turnover within the last four years. The company is investing in their finance team to match this growth and are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant who is looking to develop in their career and join their forward-thinking culture. This person will be working with the team's Financial Controller and be responsible for accurate and timely completion of the company's financial activities. This person will have excellent attention to detail, will be analytically skilled and possess the ability to take a commercial approach. Key Responsibilities: Bank reconciliations Monthly management of accounts, managing any prepayments and accruals Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset registers Review month end journals Manage employee expenses and credit card reconciliation VAT returns quarterly Profit and loss variance analysis AP processing Support the FC in moving accounts in-house and financial activities Financial documentation for auditing purposes Key Requirements: Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Experience working with Xero 18 months experience in a finance role Experience with multi-currency in a transactional/complex environment Advanced excel skills Analytical, attention to detail and commercial Pro-active approach and an ability to deliver to deadlines Willing to learn & develop with a 'cando’ attitude Experience in a high-growth or SME business or technology/e-commerce is favourable but not compulsory.
