Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join their client, a leading retail specialist based in Chester. This HR Advisor will provide a wide range of HR duties to support Line Managers and Senior Management. This role may include some travel and will require a self-motivated individual who has some excellent experience working in a HR environment. Client Details A leading retail specialist. Description Responsibilities of the HR Advisor: First point of contact for all HR issues and be effective in proactively managing and prioritising their own workload; and supporting Senior Management when necessary Day to day you will be effectively manage all aspects of HR administration in accordance with the requirements of the business and in line with data protection and employment legislation Communicating with teams across the UK; including some travel to various sites across the UK Liaising with an external employment law company This is an opportunity for the individual to grow and develop HR's presence in the company with the support of Senior Management Undertaking disciplinary meetings, Employment reviews, Exit Interviews etc. Managing First stage recruitment (i.e) Skype/ Face time/ F2F (Responsible for filtering CV's, working alongside recruitment agencies; Proactive recruitment platforms (i.e) Social Media platforms (LinkedIn) First point of contact for employees and managers when it comes to end-to-end HR policies and procedures. This role will have control of content and knowledge management in these areas POC for the Chester office External H&S company; ensuring all employees policy's, inductions are addressed and ensuring employees (i.e.) First Aid/ Fire Marshall certificates are up to date and book onto courses. Profile For this role we are looking for existing HR based experience but training for further development will be on offer; Requirements for the HR Advisor position: Previous experience in a HR position CIPD Level 3 or above Generalist HR experience (Especially with Disciplinary, Employment reviews, recruitment etc.) Tech Savvy individual who is confident in using cloud-based software / Apps / Social Media Project work experience (i.e.) Implementation of new HR Software (Currently in the final stages of a cloud-based software) Able to confidently offer support and advise to senior colleagues and managers Self-starter as standalone role with daily reporting and weekly site visits Full Clean Driving Licence & car essential Understands the roles of Senior Management and Line Managers in a SME Strong attention to detail Up to date in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR policy and procedures Well-developed interpersonal negotiating and influencing skills, together with a supportive and empathetic telephone manner Discretion and Confidentially of all employees information and the business is to be upheld at all times Job Offer Benefits: Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 Onsite Gym Onsite parking Performance related bonus Company Pension scheme Chester location
