Overview
My Client, a leading media business is looking for a Group Accounting Manager to join their expanding reporting team. You will sit within the Group Function where you will support the consolidation of all the business entities accounts alongside supporting ongoing financial projects. Within the role you would support process improvements, process efficiency and support the group accounting function. Other duties will consist of: Preparation of Monthly reconciliations, including Bank reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations, VAT reconciliation Review and submission of Analytics to US Parent Preparation of Consolidated CAPEX report and FX analysis Preparation of Statutory UK accounts under FRS102 Working with External Auditors and preparation of supplementary schedules Assist with review of overseas audits Preparation of Schedules for UK Tax returns Assisting with the UK VAT returns and VAT reconciliations Assisting with analysis of overseas subsidiaries tax returns and tax account reconciliations Assisting with Transfer Pricing Calculations Assisting with producing Consolidated Rolling cashflow analysis Perform various Revenue and Financial Reporting controls Assist SOX manager with Quarterly control testing Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to adapt to a changing environment and a strong ability to deliver to deadlines. Candidates will be a Qualified ACA Accountants looking for their first mover into Industry.
