Job Description: Our PA's deliver an integral level of support to our Lawyers and Directors, helping them to develop their practice areas by providing excellent client service, both internally and externally. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic PA to join our team in Exeter. We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal PA to join our Exeter office (free onsite car parking available). The PA will be responsible for providing flexible and professional PA support to Lawyers in the Corporate and Commercial team. Main Duties: Assisting Lawyers with the billing process and promoting good financial hygiene activities Undertaking, collating and presenting research on clients, potential clients and new business initiatives Organising client events/seminars Proactively managing task lists for self and Lawyers, identifying Lawyers' work commitments and prioritising work effectively Managing workflows between Lawyers, the PA team, Legal Document Team and other support functions Facilitating/undertaking good file management activities, including adhering to regulatory and internal requirements Assist the Team with billing of matters and monitor payment and control of debt. Building and maintaining effective relationships with Lawyers and clients Effective Outlook management for the Lawyer team including screening, prioritising and/or dealing with emails, organising meetings, travel schedules, proactive monitoring of events and providing all necessary accompanying paperwork Experience Required: Previous experience as a Legal PA is preferred Excellent filling and organisational skills Experience in diary management and the ability to multi-task Fast, accurate typing skills Competent with Microsoft 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and data management systems The Candidate Positive approach and attitude Organised and methodical Strong team working skills, with a willingness to help others Can cope well under pressure and cope with changing priorities Capable of competently multi-tasking Flexible approach to work Displays strong initiative; is positive and pro-active with approach to work Has a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection An ability to use tact and discretion This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced innovative team.
