NEW ROLE - Legal Document Production Specialist - Working from home 8:00am-4.00pm (9 month FTC Maternity Cover) Recruiting for a world renowned Law firm, they're looking for an daytime DOCUMENT PRODUCTION SPECIALIST to work from home or form the office To provide home based proactive and professional support for all practice groups across the firm including (but not limited to) audio/digital dictation typing, copy typing, amending/formatting large and complex documents, producing comparison documentation, Word/PDF conversion and manipulation plus the preparation of diagrams, slides, spreadsheets other ad hoc requests as required. Main duties and responsibilities: Assist with Work Allocation Ensure smooth day to day running and coordination of the team's workflow/mailbox including direct liaison with internal clients. Coordinate the even distribution of workloads within the team. Negotiate deadlines with clients, updating them on work progress, delays or alterations to production ensuring job details are correct. Monitor workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and Service Level Agreements are monitored and adhered to. Responsible for ensuring working procedures and processes are followed, and seeking to improve these wherever possible. Escalation of workflow coordination, client or team issues to the National Document Production Services Manager. Experience required: Excellent English language and grammar skills gained in legal environment Advanced document production skills to include accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proof reading. Advanced Word skills; such as styles, auto numbering, house styles, cross referencing, tracked changes, table of contents, etc. plus the creative aspects of the software. Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint: embedding files, animations, transitions, etc. Advanced knowledge of Excel: formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc. Advanced knowledge of PDF conversion and comparison software. Good knowledge of Outlook. Experience of document management system known as FileSite/Worksite/DMS. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly manner at all times. Ability to work to tight deadlines while handling high volumes of work and fluctuating workloads.
