Overview
Working as a member of a supportive finance function for a successful and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Dewsbury with good commuted links from both Leeds and Wakefield areas this role will provide direct support to the finance team (4) and will report directly to the Finance Manager. Initial duties will include: Regular bank reconciliations for our main bank account Monthly reconciliation of multiple petty cash accounts Management of PayPal, Barclaycard and Amazon accounts Assisting stores with finance related queries on retail accounts Dealing the daily correspondence and cash for stores Preparing the daily banking General petty cash management Answering customer phone calls and resolving queries Processing customer payments and refunds Scanning of sales ledger documentation Liaising with our fifty outlets to ensure accuracy of information Cover for credit control when necessary What we look for We seek employees with a great attitude, who can be helpful and provide assistance where needed The candidate will need to have a good aptitude for numbers Experience of using Excel is essential Good IT knowledge, Sage 200 experience would be extremely advantageous An ability to be discreet, diplomatic, reliable and trustworthy The candidate will be dealing with both suppliers and valued customers, so good communication skills and an ability to prioritise is important This is a position that is being shortlisted very quickly due to the client wanting to make a swift appointment, with that in mind if you are interested and have the relevant experience apply now.
