Maintenance Engineer (DAYS) Solihull, Birmingham DAYS Monday to Friday (40 hours) Circa £36,000 per annum Overtime Available dependent on workload 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Maintenance Engineer required for a long standing and successful manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work a Days based role where you will have the autonomy to create maintenance schedules and work on varied plant. The successful engineer will come from ANY industrial/ manufacturing or service engineering background. Electrically you will have experience working with 3 phase motor drives and wiring and have experience of planned and reactive maintenance on electromechanical machinery and plant. You will hold an electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (Ideally Level 3). Your role will be focused on maintaining extrusion lines and associated plant. You'll help to troubleshooting and test equipment, whilst repairing electrical, mechanical and electromechanical machinery. Day to day, this will involve undertaking a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance duties, as well as identifying solutions that will improve systems efficiency and reduce costs. You will be the sole engineer on site reporting to the Production Manager so this is a great opportunity to work in an autonomous role and help to manage the maintenance schedule. The Role: Reactive Maintenance of extrusion lines and machinery. Working to PPM schedules. Fault finding and repair of electromechanical machinery. The Maintenance Engineer: Comes from ANY maintenance background. Holds an electrical or mechanical qualification. Has experience working with 3 phase motors and wiring.
