Overview
Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to take the lead and oversea some key training programmes. The L&D team is integral to developing legal and non-legal capability, improving performance and building the future talent pool. The team is also responsible for organising all legal and non-legal skills training across all the offices of the firm. This role will work within the L&D team and will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of training and development programmes to lawyers from across the firm. Key areas of responsibility: Trainee training, working with and overseeing the Senior L&D Advisor; The firm’s global skills training programmes for associates, working with the US L&D Director; Supporting individual offices with their associate skills training programmes (particularly in EMEA and Asia); The International Partner Programme for new partners; The Firmwide Mentoring Programme; and Other L&D and organisational development projects, such as dissemination of the firm’s Core Values. Skills and competencies: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver to a range of audiences Ideally, strong experience of managing and delivering professional skills programmes Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills Strong influencing skills Team player - ready to pitch in and support not just the L&D team but the wider HR community Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects Experience of working across international offices desirable but not essential Coaching and psychometric qualifications and experience would be valued but not essential Trustworthy with the ability to deal with confidential information Please contact Nikki Bjurenvall ASAP for further details
