Overview

the Bridge IT are currently recruiting for a permanent Linux Systems Administrator for a client to be based in Leeds city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great company. A company that work with a fantastic technology stack, the key focus on this role is Linux and any exposure to ansible, puppet or chef would be great but not essential. Skills for the role: ? Linux Systems/Platform Administration and 3rd line support ? Configuration Management / Configuration as Code (e.g. SaltStack, Ansible) ? Any Scripting exposure (e.g. Bash, YAML, PHP, Python) ? SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, Percona) ? Version Control (Git) ? Ability to work on complex project based work Other desirable skills, knowledge and things you will gain exposure to ? Other distros e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, FreeBSD, FreeNAS ? Atlassian Stack (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence) ? LAMP Stack ? Networking ? Hardware and Data Centres Virtualization Platforms (e.g. On-App, KVM, VMWare, Proxmox, OpenStack) ? Elastic Stack ? Containerization (Docker) ? Continuous Integration (CI) ? Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) ? HashiCorp products (e.g. Vagrant) ? Hosted Services ?
