Linux Systems Administrator – Custodian DC Ltd £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 – DOE CustodianDC is an award-winning innovative Data Centre, Network & Cloud services provider based in Maidstone, Kent. We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator with Ubuntu and CentOS experience to join our 3 rd Line datacentre team. This is an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious Linux Systems Administrator looking to gain exposure to a vast tech stack including; Ubuntu, CentOS, MySQL, Bash PHP scripting, Netflow Analysis (flow tools), BGP, DRBD, KVM/QEMU and much more. You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s Linux Server Administration, Troubleshooting, Scripting of Automated Systems and Multiple Analysis Tools. Our key focus is to ensure the high availably & recoverability of systems & data, in a secure ‘always-on’ datacentre environment. Day-to-Day Activities shall include; • Troubleshooting incidents and problems • Scripting of Automated Systems • Providing Technical Advice and Guidelines to both Staff and Customers • Multiple Analysis Tools • Development of New Products and Services and more Many of the Scripted Systems interact directly with Physical Hardware and controls across our various Data Floors and Infrastructure.
