Overview
HR Manager £35,000 Coventry Macildowie HR are working with a family owned SME in Coventry to recruit a hands on HR Manager to join their close-nit team, to support the HR Director and HR Assistant. The client are looking for someone with a background in HR strategy but also someone who isn't afraid of getting involved in the day to day HR tasks, and being pro-active in getting stuff done The Role: Reporting into the HR Director you will have full visibility of the HR strategy, and be able to advise on new ways that policies and procedures can be developed, designing new initiatives to engage staff members and work to enhance employees careers within the company. You will have a heavy hand in the ER caseload, advising line managers on processes and being present in meetings as the HR representative to ensure the correct policies are being followed, for all cases such as absence and performance management, disciplinaries and grievances, and then collating management information to deport back to key stakeholders. Together with the HR Assistant, you will be responsible for end to end recruitment for all level of roles, from the initial drawing up of job descriptions and adverts, to CV shifting and first stage screening of applicants to then send over to line managers for final stage interviews. The HR Assistant will then send out offer letters and contracts to new starters. The Candidate: The client are looking for someone with a generalist HR background, who has come from a smaller organisation so that they can get the ground running in this position. You will need to be hard working and willing to put the effort in the get the most out of this role, as well as having a can-do attitude in terms of the volume of the workload.
