HR Advisor Coventry 9 Months FTC Urgent Start This week has been really be the week for HR Advisors in the Coventry and Warwickshire area This HR Advisor position is working for a well-known and respected Public Sector organisation in Coventry, who have a strong and supportive HR team. They are looking for someone to join their team on a maternity cover until the end of the year. The Role: Your main focus in this role will be employee relations, where you can take on the ownership of case management, acting as the key escalation point for all enquiries. You will be there to provide advice to line managers on ER cases, such as performance management and grievances. Coaching line managers so that they have the knowledge to manage their team in line with policies and procedures. You will conduct some of the ER meetings, such as with long-term sickness cases, or you will work closely with line managers to come to the best resolution for their team. Other HR duties will also fall under your remit, such as assisting in the recruitment process and the induction and training of staff members. General HR administration to support your HR team, sending out new starter packs, booking in meetings, keeping track of documentation and correspondence related to ER cases. The Candidate: My client are looking for someone who is immediately available and looking to get stuck straight into a fast paced and challenging work load. For this, you must be available to start in the next couple of weeks and be able to commit to the full length of the contract Due to the focus on Employee Relations, you will need to have proven experience working to a high volume of cases, and ideally have a CIPD qualification.
