About you: We're looking for an experienced manager, coach, mentor, trainer, and leader. You love building, coaching and enabling successful outbound focused sales development teams through a clear vision, structure, and strategy. You create a thriving, fun, and high-energy team culture based on a shared set of values and thoughtfully designed outbound processes. The role: As a Sales Development Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives that drive outbound lead generation, while mentoring team members and serving as a bridge between the SDR team, Marketing, Senior Managers and Functional Head's. Day to day responsibilities: • Train and mentor a brand new team of 6 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) • Utilise and champion Salesforce within the team to gather and enrich required best in class customer information and data • Drive operational excellence through constant process innovation and creative incentives • Provide weekly/monthly KPI reports to Senior Management • Own and maintain ongoing analysis of New Lead data • Establish a smooth lead handover process between the SDR's and Field based sales teams. • Ensure credible new customer appointments and opportunities are being booked in, following up on feedback when required, resulting in successful conversion rates • Embody our clients' core values and act as a brand ambassador both internally and externally What are the requirements? • Positive, enthusiastic team player with a killer instinct and nothing is impossible' mindset • Successful track record of managing a team within an outbound calling sales environment • Management experience in B2B Sales or Sales Development • Experience growing and scaling a successful outbound focused Sales Development team • Proven track record establishing, achieving or exceeding measurable goals • Experience successfully working cross-functionally across multiple departments within a company (i.e. Marketing, Operations, Product, etc.) • Excellent communication and organizational skills
