Overview
Riverside have a new opportunity for a Housing Officer, working part time, on a permanent basis. You’ll earn £21,451 per year, pro rata (£17,160.80) You will be required to work 30 hours per week across 2 full days and 3 half days. Who you’ll be helping Based in Cambridgeshire, The Springs provides supported housing for single men and women with low support needs who are willing to engage in education, training, paid or voluntary work. Individual support is provided to prepare you to move on to independent living and to help meet your ambitions and goals. While Riverside does have roles for carers, this is a role perfect for those looking for support work. What will you do? The Housing Officer is responsible for providing a customer focused housing service provision across supported and sheltered schemes, delivering a day to day housing management service and monitoring service level agreement with partners. Day to day Your key responsibilities as a The Springs Housing Officer will include: • Ensuring occupancy targets are met, through lettings and refurbishments of properties. • Providing practical support and information to clients when entering the service and throughout their involvement with the service, e.g., assisting clients in the completion of occupancy agreements and welfare benefit claims and liaison with benefit agencies. • Adhering and assisting in the management of the schemes allocations procedure • Monitoring and meeting relevant health and safety standards in properties. • Carrying out day-to-day administration duties. • Assisting in the monitoring of service contracts.
