Management Accountant Up to £45,000 per annum Fantastic Benefits Coventry We are currently working with a fantastic US owned business who operate successfully in the entertainment industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Produce monthly financial and non-financial reports relevant to business needs Working closely with the business partner in the team to enable accurate reporting to the board Ensure the integrity of the compilation of all management accounting reports Act as accounts liaison for internal stakeholders Coaching & mentoring 1-2 part-qualified accountants. Identify, test, implement and document improvements and enhancements to existing processes Ensure the appropriate company accounting policies are adopted and applied to both the management and statutory accounts Support technical accounting query resolutions as prompted by the business Provide support to the head of financial reporting on ad-hoc projects as required Support the development of an internal control framework to ensure data integrity and accuracy Who you will be: ACCA,CIMA, ICAEW qualified Accountant or equivalent An eye for detail, commercially minded and passionate about adding value Supervise and take appropriate action to ensure the quality of output of the management accounting team Act as a mentor to individuals undertaking their accounting qualifications and training and developing individuals. Ability to work in a high pressured environment Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate at all levels Strong leadership skills, with experience in a multi-site / multi-channel retail business Advanced level on Excel (Pivot tables, Sumifs, Vlookups etc) Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
