Overview
Here at Recon Services, we are now looking for an experienced, reliable Class 1 driver who is looking for ongoing work Drivers are the face of our client so it’s about ensuring you deliver a great impression to the customers, not just the goods It’s about making the right impression with your professional attitude, appearance and the look of your vehicle. As a professional driver, you are responsible for: Ensuring the load is delivered in excellent condition Completing all paperwork correctly and, above all, leaving our customers and road users with a really positive impression of you and of our client. This position will be working Monday – Friday, with weekend work available in the busier periods. Typical start times can be between 04.00-06.00 Shifts varying between 8 - 12 hours. Key Driver Requirements • Category CE licence • A Digital Tachograph card • Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card • Maximum of 6 points on driving licence • No dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements on driving licence • A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work Desirable • Experience with refrigeration units and tail lifts Job Specifics • Completing delivery drops to shops. • Unloading palletised goods from the vehicle to a designated area within the shop using a Powered Pallet Truck. • Collecting waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot. • Conducting daily vehicle checks • Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.
