Our client is looking for a UI Designer to join their innovative and successful software development company. What you’ll be doing as their UI Designer; - A real team player who will work closely with the UI and UX teams, Project Managers, Developers, Web Product owners and other stakeholders to support the development of cutting-edge and breakthrough creative ideas across a range of IT projects (web and mobile) - Someone that can provide UI design expertise for the agile team they are embedded in - Creating & following brand guidelines - Conduct visual research - Ensure team designs are always created and implemented to the highest quality and exceptional attention to detail - Own and manage projects’ design through their lifecycle and final delivery - Assisting mobile app design - Presales design - Design branding and marketing material, digital and print - Conducting design kick off/brief meetings with stakeholders independently and with other designers - Understanding the Brand Identity of the company - Suggesting new ideas for features for the platform based on client insights and team feedback - Collaborate with the UX and Project Delivery teams in all the required areas to improve internal processes and client deliverables - Understanding of project user journeys, site architecture and user interfaces Who should apply for this UI Designer? Our client is looking someone who has a passion for innovation, UI design, and an ability to inspire others with your creativity, whilst demonstrating a great understanding of user-centric design within a given market. In addition, you must have the following skills and experience: - 1 years’ experience - A qualification in relation to web design / design / graphic design / UI/UX - Knowledge of adobe XD (preferred), or Sketch and willingness to learn XD - Knowledge of Protopie / principle - Knowledge of Photoshop/illustrator - An understanding of HTML/CSS - Experience creating and following brand guidelines - Experience of creating responsive designs - Sketching skills - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to conduct visual research - A confident presenter who can explain and defend their designs when required - Ability to think independently and communicate ideas and visual concepts in a clear and coherent manner - An organised self-starter who will proactively drive their programme of work, working across multiple teams at any one time - Someone who keeps up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques - Good Interpersonal skills and good with taking on feedback - Creative ability to adapt design aesthetic to user needs, personas If you feel you have the skills and experience to become their UI Designer, then please click ‘Apply’ today
