Overview
Job Title: Transport Planner / Transport Engineer Office Location: Leeds, Yorkshire A small, family-run transport planning & highway design consultancy in Leeds is recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team. Whilst specialising within transport planning, you will also have the opportunity to assist in detailed junction & highways design, alongside a team of highly experienced engineers. The organisation offers specialist services across development planning, expert witness, landscape & highway design, site optimisation & road safety. Candidate Specification: Degree level education; Experience within consultancy-based transport planning; Strong technical report writing skills; Experience using AutoCAD, ARCADY, PICADY & LINSIG; Experience within Highway Design; Good understanding of DMRB standards; Job Specification: Preparation of transport assessments & statements; Preparation and delivery of travel planning schemes; Transport capacity modelling; Junction & Highway Design; Assist in preparation of documents for appeals & hearings; If successful, you will join a small team in Leeds, delivering a range of projects across the Yorkshire region. As a key member of a close-knit organisation, you will have the opportunity to be heavily involved in all aspects of project delivery, including both transport planning & highway engineering.
