Exciting new role for a talented Transport Planner based in Leeds The successful applicant must have a same day planning background and be able to demonstrate high levels of commercial awareness within a fast-paced planning environment Responsible for a team of 5 planners and circa 33 vehicles, reporting directly into the Operations Director You will play a pivotal role in the servicing of up to 120 clients (repeat and ad-hoc) on a weekly basis Overview of Duties (not limited too) Large scale manual planning Manage a KPI suite - including empty mileage, cost per mile, service SLA’s. Be able to jump into the planning desk, solving issues and bringing confidence to the team Deliver (in support initially) customer reviews and commercial management. Plan, project manage and execute sizeable projects.
