HR Administrator Job- 5 month Fixed Term Contract- £25,941 A Higher Education Organisation are looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join the team on a fixed term contract basis, until the end of July 2020. You would be responsible for providing a high quality, customer-focused, HR administration service to managers and staff across the University. Working across both Employee Administration and Recruitment, your role will include a number of HR Administrative duties, and more specific recruitment related tasks and activities. Candidates looking to apply will have worked at HR Administrator level previously as this organisation need somebody to be able to pick up the duties immediately, with little support. It will be your responsibility to maintain the accuracy of the HR database, SAP, meaning you will enter all the employee and payroll related information onto the HR system and ensure any contractual changes are updated in an accurate and timely manner. You will prepare and issue accurate employee correspondence, including amendments to contracts. Playing an active role in the administration of the Visiting Lecturer process for contract preparation and administration, means any prior experience working in a Higher Education HR team would be advantageous to your application. This role will also provide you with the opportunity to gain exposure to Employee Relations cases, as you will provide note taking to committee meetings and panels, such as disciplinary's, grievance hearings and recruitment selection panels. In relation to the recruitment aspect of your role, you will provide effective recruitment administration to enable the efficient recruitment and selection of candidates to the University vacancies. Working together with HR Advisers and Recruiting Managers to plan recruitment campaigns and agree selection methods, advertising sources and recruitment timetables. You will have the opportunity to draft adverts and job descriptions and you will be the main point of contact for all recruitment related queries, including first line support for the e-recruitment system. Candidates looking to apply will need to be able to demonstrate their previous recruitment experience and their competence using an e-recruitment system. Candidates looking to apply need to have worked in HR Administrative roles previously and/or Recruitment related positions. It is a 5 month fixed term contract to start ASAP and therefore candidates will need to be able to commence a new assignment within the next week or two. You will be able to discuss your experience working with a HR system and an e-recruitment system. Any prior experience using SAP would be beneficial.
