Linux Systems Engineer, Cloud Engineer, AWS A Linux Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer is required to join a scientific start-up company based in the heart of Oxfordshire – this is an excellent opportunity to gain commercial experience with AWS As the Cloud Engineer, you will join a small, yet diverse team taking responsibility for the company’s infrastructure. You will work to improve the reliability, monitoring and quality of the infrastructure. As the Linux Systems Engineer you will provide a comprehensive Linux technical resource to projects, working with a range of technologies including Jenkins and Python creating pipelines to be deployed in to an AWS cloud environment. The company have developed a cloud-based software product powered by Python and Machine Learning algorithms, an IoT project focussing on renewable energy systems, set to revolutionise the industry. Having recently secured contracts with several large energy companies, this forward thinking start-up is on their way to becoming a market leader What’s required of the Linux Systems Administrator /Cloud Engineer? - Excellent knowledge of Linux Servers - Proven scripting experience, any experience with Python would be highly advantageous - Experience with AWS cloud, either within a commercial setting or through personal study What Next?
