Our clients working in the health tech industry are rapidly growing and currently looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to join their Oxford based team. The Linux Systems Engineer will work closely with the IT Manager to design, improve and implement new and existing networks and systems. You will enjoy tackling a new challenge and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. This Linux Systems Engineer role will suit someone who likes to work in an innovative environment. You will be keen to learn and develop your skills. You will be able to work alone, and as part of a team. Responsibilities of the Systems and Network Engineer: Day to day running of internal systems Reactive and proactive monitoring and maintenance of physical and virtual network infrastructure Train and mentor junior members of the team Complete technical documentation Skills and experience of the Systems and Network Engineer: Linux Hyper-V Windows Servers PowerShell / Bash Scripting Automation experience Physical network installation Cisco Network and Linux security principles ITIL V3 Strong troubleshooting This role is commutable from: Oxford, Didcot, Reading, Kidlington, Witney, Radley, Abingdon, Wallingford, Bicester, Banbury, Aylesbury, Wantage Linux Systems Engineer, Hyper V, VM Ware, Windows, PowerShell, Infrastructure Engineer Referral Scheme: If this role isn’t for you then perhaps you could recommend a friend or colleague to Haybrook IT.
