Overview

Employment Solicitor Leeds QED Legal are working with a regional Legal 500 practice in Leeds who are looking for a junior-mid level Employment Solicitor to join their small and close-knit team in the centre of the city. The Role The role is for an Employment Solicitor with respondent experience to join the team in their new Leeds city centre office. You will be carrying your own caseload of respondent employment law matters dealing with: Non-Contentious Matters Contracts Policies Settlement Agreements TUPE HR Support Corporate Support Contentious Matters Disciplinaries and Grievances Discrimination Employment Tribunal hearings About You You will be: An Employment Solicitor around 1-4 years PQE Experienced in dealing with a respondent caseload Someone who has worked at a large or regional commercial practice Keen to contribute to the business development side of the role The Team and Firm The team in Leeds is small with 2 senior lawyers and a Trainee Solicitor. They primarily advise owner managed businesses and SME's as well as larger organisations and some executive level claimant advice. There is plenty of room therefore for progression and the opportunity to really make your mark in the team rather than being one of a large pool of lawyers. The firm do like to progress people internally too.
