Overview
I am currently recruiting for a niche law firm based in Manchester who are looking for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: To run the monthly payroll for c 750 people - inputting of new starters and leavers, maternity, sickness, salary changes and change in details etc. Deal with payroll queries as received on a timely basis and within agreed SLA's Produce distribute and submit to HMRC annual P11D's ensuring compliance with the deadlines Completion of the annual PSA return and calculation of monies due Ensuring monthly payments to HMRC are undertaken Adopt a continuous improvement approach to the payroll function processes and procedures. To liaise with HR to ensure that the payroll is executed seamlessly and develop processes and procedures as required Verify expense claims and process any due payments through online banking Other responsibilities: Assist the Head of Finance and Director of People as required Be an integral part of the Management team of Finance Function within the firm. Person Specification: Extensive experience of SAGE payroll Extensive experience of SAGE payroll reporting Excellent attention to detail and exception organisational and interpersonal skills Skilled use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word Previous experience of being a sole payroll supervisor/manager within a firm Team player with ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment In return you will receive a salary of £30000-£35000 for 35 hours per week and flexible working.I am currently recruiting for a niche law firm based in Manchester who are looking for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager on a permanent basis.
