Overview
Project Officer Up to 3 months £132.48 per day inside IR35 Central Birmingham I am currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to add a Project Officer to their team to support on a multitude of projects for up to 3 months. The client is looking for someone who is experienced in supporting projects that are meeting tight deadlines, have working knowledge of project processes such as Prince2/MSP and confidently communicate with all colleagues/external partners involved in the project. Main Responsibilities Plan, co-ordinate, deliver and monitor a broad range of complex tasks or programmes of work to ensure the expected outcomes of the organisations mandate and delivery plan are met or exceeded Work alongside and deputise for the Project Manager, carrying out appropriate duties in their absence Manage, support and oversee the work of the project support/administrator acting as a role model in terms of delivering a culture of high performance, effective time management and flexibility in delivering workloads and priorities Key Skills and Knowledge Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously to deliver expected outcomes in a changing environment whilst having the freedom to determine how best to deliver these Demonstrated experience of leading and co-ordinating small and large scale projects in complex and challenging environments Track record in stakeholder management with the ability to influence key decision makers and drive change Advanced IT skills in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation, Managing Successful Project or Microsoft Project If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please call the office on or email Badenoch Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
