Overview
Software Developer (C#) - Contract - Crawley, West Sussex - £competitive C#/.NET/SQL Server/MVC Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Software Developer to work at a leading financial client based in Crawley, West Sussex on a contract basis. The successful candidate will use their experience as a Developer to work with a team of Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Testers to develop the intended solution for a range of customers. Responsibilities include: - Working with business analysts to provide estimates for each product backlog item/user story/task - Participating in daily stand ups or similar meetings - Working with testers to understand and resolve defects - Server Side coding and programming - Take involvement in unit testing Experience required: - Strong background in software development, with specific skills using C#, .Net, and MVC - Related skills with C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, or XML would also be highly desirable - Also strong SQL Server skills, preferably including SSIS and SSRS - Previous experience of working in the financial sector would be advantageous - Experience with different development life cycle methodologies (eg Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) - Knowledge of the Microsoft Linq framework - Some previous experience of unit testing would be desirable If you are looking to take the next exciting step in your IT career, please send in your CV for immediate consideration.
