Court of Protection Lawyer - Personal Injury Trusts Bath £38,000 - £50,000 A well established, leading claimant law firm require a Court of protection solicito to join their team. The role is for a compensation protection specialist in the Compensation Protection Unit: administering high value compensation awards for catastrophically injured (accident or medically caused) clients to meet their lifelong needs. To consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner, delivering outstanding client service at all times. To support the Head of the Bath team and the Business Unit Manager and to assist with the marketing of the department's services, undertaking business development activities to build on the firm and team's reputation for excellence. Undertake supervision of more junior colleagues. Main Duties Include: - Undertake the day to day management of 30 to 50 Court of Protection and PI trusts matters, under supervision; - Build credibility with clients and families developing own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales. Build team around the client; - Deal with monthly billing and cost estimates and send bills to the law cost draftsman and submission to the SCCO; - Develop market and sector knowledge and demonstrate expertise to clients, families, case managers, IFA's, therapists in a MDT approach; Experience Required: - Qualified CILEx or Solicitor with between 3 and 5 years' experience. - Previous experience dealing with court of protection and trust matters. - Ability to manage own files under supervision - Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service - Ability to coach and mentor junior lawyer Apply now for immediate consideration Please contact Emily Flewitt, Senior Legal Recruitment Consultant, to discuss the role in more detail or apply through the vacancy for immediate consideration.
