Overview

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Southampton (Highfield) area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you. The shifts available are every Monday 9:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am to 3:30pm, Wednesday 9:30am to 7:30pm, and Friday 10am to 4pm. The rate of pay ranges from £9.00 to £11.70 per hour. We also pay for your mileage. We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check and 25 days of paid annual holiday. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate , as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. About the Client You will be working as part of the team that supports a gentleman in his 40s with a diagnosis of epilepsy who lives in the area of Highfield in Southampton. Your role will be to assist him with his daily routine, as well as support him to safely access the community on a regular basis to engage in a range of purposeful activities. He is a very active individual and enjoys a variety of sports and activities including, badminton, ten pin bowling, snooker, Pitch and Put, Crazy Golf, and French Bowls. He also goes to the gardening centre once a week. The right candidate must be energetic and proactive to encourage this gentleman to carry out his daily activities and continue his rehabilitation.
