This position offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to join the team at one of our luxury residential care homes, Grimston Court, set in secluded private grounds on the outskirts of York.This impressive manor house was built in 1903 for Sir John Hunt by esteemed local architect Walter Brierley.A Grade II listed building of considerable historical value, we are extremely proud to maintain this grand Jacobean-style country home to the highest standards. Due to the location of Grimston Court, ideally candidates with a driving license and access to a car is preferable.However, there may be opportunities for car sharing with current staff. The role You will be assisting vulnerable adults with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing etc. as well as being involved in undertaking household tasks such as housework, serving food, assisting residents to community visits, all while building strong working relationships with the residents, their families and your work colleagues.
