Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly successful and progressive company in Blackburn as an IFA Administrator / Paraplanner. This position will involve working in collaboration with the Financial Adviser, providing strong administrative support including diary and appointment management as well as dealing with customers. You will ensure that you are providing a consistently high level of support. Salary: £32k - £36k depending on experience. Role Overview and Responsibilities To support the Financial Adviser with administrative duties. Undertake research both independently and with the Financial Planner to identify suitable solutions to meet the client's needs Prepare suitability letters in accordance with the agreed recommendations Ensure all incoming client communications are handled promptly Act as main point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication You will obtain information, quotes and product details, and provide comparisons for analysis. You will prepare associated accompanying documentation as required. This will include the pre-completion of documentation ready for clients to check and sign. Processing client transactions and enquiries accurately and in a timely manner and per agreed service levels. Proactive assistance and resolution of client enquiries, adhering to relevant timescales and processing guidelines Maintaining a thorough knowledge of individual and departmental responsibilities Support with diary management and other administrative duties as required Experience/Qualifications Have a certificate in Financial Planning or be working towards Experience of working within an IFA Admin / Paraplanner role within financial services Good numeracy and literacy skills The ability to thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment Highly motivated and willing to embrace change Good attention to detail Strong IT skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to produce Management Information The team is supportive, busy and the company offer a great environment to work within, fantastic career progression and company benefits.
