Part Time Assistant Accountant | £20,000 - £23,000 FTE | Chesterfield The Opportunity Professional and growing SME (owner managed) have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant. You will enjoy an extremely high degree of flexibility within this part time position (20 hours per week). You’ll enjoy playing a key role in supporting the Financial Controller with the financial management and reporting for this vibrant and ambitious SME. Your role will include all daily bookkeeping / transactional accounting / ledger processing. You will ideally have previous experience of; purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliation, month end close, credit control. The business use Pegasus and knowledge of the software would be useful. This is a welcoming family-ran business with an excellent track record and strong customer base.They are experiencing growth and are able to offer a high degree of job security. The role is varied and hands-on. You will enjoy assisting in management accounts preparation - guided by an approachable and supportive leadership team locally. You will be: An experienced Assistant Accountant seeking a role on a part time / reduced hours basis. Looking to join a welcoming SME able to offer a high degree of flexibility. Comfortable with routine monthly accounting tasks alongside ad hoc financial administration tasks. Able to begin a new permanent role in April 2020. In summary a broad and involved part time accounting role for a confident and experienced Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper in the North East Derbyshire region
