Overview

Stowe Family Law is the UK's leading family law practice. Founded in 1982, the firm is the largest specialist family law firm employing over 75 specialist family lawyers with a collective experience of over 800 years. In February 2017, the firm underwent a management buy out and private equity firm Livingbridge invested in the business, this started an ambitious phase of expansion. Today, Stowe has offices in over 20 locations in England. Stowe has created an exciting new Regional Director role to lead and manage the firm's London and South East offering, a region planned to undergo significant growth over the coming years Reporting to the CEO, this role will be suitable for a very experienced General Manager, who has the excellent leadership and commercial skills needed to develop this region and to lead the fee-earning teams. Strategic business development abilities will also be required to capitalise on the potential of this region and bring about significant growth in the number of clients the firm serves. The role will have full accountability for running a P&L for the region. The key areas of the role include: Leadership of the office Managing Partners Financial accountability for the region Developing and implementing a regional growth strategy Ensuring that new processes and ways of working are fully adopted and deliver the required benefits Contributing to firm-wide strategy Identifying and managing risks across all offices Skills required include: Experienced business leader who is motivated by growing and developing a business Strong financial management skills, familiar with financial drivers of a legal practice Excellent data analysis capability Exceptional relationship skills and an ability to influence others, both within the organisation and outside it Ability to manage and motivate remote teams Ability to coach and develop people to improve performance Mobility throughout London and the South East If you would like any further information or wish to apply please contact Tim Skipper or Laura McNair.
