Overview
Site Manager - Cleaning Products Our client, who manufacture a range of specially formulated chemicals for cleaning and disinfection of critical and sterile environments is looking for an experienced Site Manager. As Site Manager you will ensure that all day to day operations are running smoothly and the site is operating to its maximum efficiency and capability to meet business KPIs. You will also be responsible for production performance, quality control, maintenance, cost control and health & safety. The Site Manager will play and active role in managing and coaching people, driving process development and delivering productivity and performance improvements within the company. Key responsibilities: Planning and organising production schedules Quality control Organising plant, equipment, services and site maintenance. Maintaining stocks of raw materials, consumable and finished goods. Scheduling collection of finished goods Ensuring the laboratory and offices operate efficiently Meet production timescales or schedules as necessary Selecting, approving and liaising with procurement for material and services The person: You should have a keen interest in science preferably studied to degree level (or equivalent), with previous experience in production of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or medical devices. Project management skills coupled with good organisation and efficient working practices. Knowledge of Quality Systems and requirements and a clear understanding of health and safety requirements in a production environment. Good leadership and interpersonal skills. Full spec available.
