Overview

North London based specialist care group requires an experienced Chief Operating Officer to ensure operational efficiency across the group and provide sector expertise as they continue a period of acquisitive and organic growth. Our client is an award-winning provider of specialist residential care and as part of their extensive growth project they are looking for a high calibre individual to develop their plans. Requirements: A successful track record of leading and growing multi-site complex/ specialist/ LD operations. Experience of offering vital strategic input at board level. Experience of rapid growth scenarios within the healthcare sector, encompassing M&A activity. A positive and collaborative leadership style: a strong communicator with an eye for detail. Excellent business intelligence and market responsiveness and the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with all key stakeholders, officials and partners within local authorities and other key stakeholders. Role: Day to day leadership and oversight responsibility for the operational management of c. 40 care services for adults with learning disabilities, employing c. 1,000 team members. Ensure best in class quality of service is provided with a high level of compliance with care regulations and maintain an outstanding relationship with the CQC and local authority partners. Inspire a positive culture of development and loyalty within the business. Proactively manage operational efficiency, delivering sustainable performance and return on investment. Together with the CEO and CFO, work to ensure that stakeholder goals are achieved, operating with full business decision autonomy.
