Project Manager- (In Building DAS/Wi-Fi) Salary £70,000- £80000 depending on experience Plus benefits Based in Central London The Opportunity Would you like to get involved in one of the most exciting programme of works in the UK that is going to revolutionise the daily lives of commuters in London? This project is to roll out 4G mobile connectivity across the underground sections of the London Underground network and while platform access is available for Wi-Fi at the moment, this network build and deployment programme will allow that access to data when on the move in the tunnels so is one of the biggest commuting game changers for many a year. Ready to play your part on the project that is going to change the way we all work and live in the City? The Role You'll be the Project Manager responsible for the design, deployment and construction of a In Building DAS/Wi-Fi network that will be deployed on a Transport for London Programme. You'll be working for the infrastructure owner and builder. This is going to be a rapid ramp up and won't be for the faint hearted. You'll be joining the multi-year / multi-million value project before the go live date so structure, process and methodology need to be in place across all key suppliers, materials and components as due to tight timescales, there isn't going to be a huge amount of leeway when it comes to delivery meaning everything needs to go as smooth as possible in the planning stage to ensure the project is running on track from the outset. The successful candidate will be? A Telecoms Project Manager who can point to success stories about previous In Building DAS/Wi-Fi network infrastructure builds. Any experience of working on LUL or TfL then even better.
