Overview
A central London based global financial services company is looking for an IT Analyst, who will provide full 1st & 2nd line support. The successful candidate will communicate with system users, monitoring updates and progress of the support ticket, therefore hands-on technical experience and troubleshooting experience will be required in order to carry out this position. The carrying out of routine operational tasks, building workstations, maintaining system infrastructure and escalating infrastructural issues will also be part of the role. Candidates will ideally have a degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Computer Science or professional qualification, or the equivalent. Key points to the role: 1st/2nd line support minimum 3 years experience win7 & win10 Office 2010/2013 Outlook Microsoft exchange PgP encryption management support system software development knowledge of structured cabling system good understanding of TCP/IP protocols DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocoland) DNS This is a role that would suit those with previous experience working as an Engineer Analyst, IT Support Engineer or similar, previous experience gained within Financial Services would be highly desirable.
