A privately owned restaurant in the Blackburn region is recruiting for a Senior Chef de Partie role Role: The Head Chef of this restaurant venue is currently seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join the team of six chefs working in the kitchen.The menus at the property offer upmarket pub food with fresh, simple dishes that let the ingredients shine with modern plating styles.The venue is popular for breakfast and lunch when there is a café style menu but is also very popular for evening service and private functions.As Senior Chef de Partie you will be expected to have the ability to work on different sections in the kitchen but also be able to work on the pass controlling some of the quieter service times.At the same time you will also become involved with the paperwork including the ordering allowing you to develop your kitchen management skills. Requirements: A very strong Chef de Partie who has been working in high volume, fresh food kitchens where you learnt to cook under pressure whilst consistently producing the standards required by your senior chefs.A chef who is capable of adapting to different cooking styles with the ability to work on most sections and has had experience of running the pass previously would be ideal.
