Overview
A Commis Chef is required to work at a country house hotel located in the Keswick region of Cumbria Role: A great opportunity is available for a Commis Chef to join the team of seven chefs working in the kitchen of a country house hotel.The hotel has recently had a brand new kitchen fitted which has all the latest equipment to allow the chefs to create truly modern dishes.As Commis Chef you will receive plenty of training and support for you to develop your cooking skills whilst assisting with the creation of modern British dishes which are based on classical cooking.The role will mainly focus on restaurant service as there are very few events taking place at the property. Requirements: The Head Chef is seeking a Commis Chef with good basic cooking skills who has a positive attitude in the kitchen and is eager to continue learning.Previous experience working with all fresh ingredients to create high quality, modern dishes is necessary for this role.
