Sous Chef, Kingston, Contract Catering, £30,000 Company Information- This contract caterer is one of the largest contract caterers that pride themselves on producing fresh seasonal food follow current food trends and food on the high street passionate. I’m looking for a highly motivated, innovative and organised chef manager to manage and run the catering operation at this unique head office for approx. 800 people in Kingston. The catering offer consists of providing fresh food for the open plan staff/retail restaurant offering breakfast and lunch. The food offer consists of grab and go and hearty hot main courses, jacket potato) for approx. 250 covers per day. They also do a lot of hospitality which mainly involves buffets working and sandwich lunches. On very few occasions they do fine dining twice per year There is a real emphasis on healthy eating and implementing their 50 plant based ingredients into the modern style menu. You will be working within a team of 3 staff including a head chef therefore will need will need to be extremely hands on and be able to run the kitchen independently. Other duties include administration, menu planning with the head chef, stock takes, ordering, dealing with suppliers, allergens, due diligence, health & safety and food safety The ideal sous chef will be a confident, customer engaging and have experience in a similar position.
