Overview
Head of Pricing sought for one of the biggest General Insurance brands in the UK. You will have a dotted reporting line to the Board and play a part in defining and delivering yearly company targets in collaboration with the Senior Leadership / Trading Team. You will lead a well-established Pricing Team via three direct reports to ensure Pricing activity aligns with strategic objectives. Your team will utilise predictive modelling and advanced analytics to understand customer lifetime value in line with internal governance. Our clients writes a significant volume of Personal Lines business (Home & Motor) with well in excess of 1m policyholders. You will be required to liaise with external underwriting partners to maximise mutual opportunities and explore new avenues for growth. Your role will be extremely varied with plenty of ad-hoc projects to supplement your main three areas of responsibility which include; being a key member of the Trading Team, leading the Pricing function and managing external underwriting / panel partnerships. This role is not suited to those who want a very technical / L&D focussed Head of Pricing position. This is a role for those in Pricing who want their career to straddle; technical, commercial, leadership and strategy within a fast paced insurance environment. You will have: A commercial awareness of the UK GI market Extensive Personal Lines Pricing experience, either Motor or Home. Relevant professional qualification or significant demonstrable industry experience. Experience of liaising with non-Pricing stakeholders in the delivery of business objectives (ideally in a Trading Team). Strong leadership credentials.
