Furniture Designer
Overview
We are looking for a furniture designer to join our studio team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a design-led manufacturer and contribute to the design and development of new collections for the Hospitality, Cruise and Workplace markets. The role would ideally suit a creative, passionate designer who wants to develop skills in design and production within an ambitious contract furniture business. The Design Studio team launch new collections, work with external designers and develop bespoke products throughout the year. Person/experience required Degree in Furniture design or Product design Good technical understanding of furniture construction Fluent in SolidWorks Ability to produce CAD technical drawings for AlphaCAM system Ability to issue specifications and costings for new/bespoke product Keen and enthusiastic team player The new designer will be reporting to the Design Project Manager and will be based at Morgan's factory and head office in Southbourne, near Chichester.
