FAMILY SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE (Maternity Cover) THE FIRM - Long established full service firm in Newcastle - Strong family practice, covering all areas of Private Family Law THE ROLE - A Qualified Family Solicitor (Or Legal Executive equivalent) is required to cover a period of maternity leave from June 2020 - This will be based in the Newcastle office, although candidates who are able to work across both Newcastle and Teesside sites would be considered for a permanent role as the team is expanding - You will be handling a caseload of private family matters including divorce, ancillary relief and finances as well as private law children matters THE REQUIREMENTS - As this is a maternity cover role, the ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of 1-3 years experience in family law - Your experience will be predominantly related to private family law as the nature of the work will be largely related to privately funded work such as divorces, ancillary relief, financials and private children matters - The maternity cover role is based in Newcastle, however, if the candidate is able to split their time between the Newcastle and Teesside sites, then the role could be permanent THE BENEFITS - Competitive salary and benefits package - Free parking available on the Stockton site BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
