Overview
A Legal 500 firm is on the look-out for an experienced Family Paralegal to join their offices in Newcastle City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected firm that provides excellent support and opportunities for growth internally to all their paralegals. In this role you will be joining the award-winning Family team and supporting a team of Solicitors on a caseload of Family matters. You would be required to draft statements, make applications for Legal Aid, attend court as well as meetings with and on behalf of clients. What would make you stand out? The ideal candidate would need to have a genuine interest within Family Law and the desire to pursue a long-term career within this area of law. Previous experience within Family Law is essential either as; -Family work experience -Paid family paralegal employment -Studied a family elective at University with the addition of experience within a Student Law office environment Excellent client care and communication skills are a must, as well as attention to detail.
