Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Barrister NQ – 2 & 3 years PQE LEEDS
Overview
Directories-listed Litigation department at this law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit two Commercial Litigation lawyers to its team – one of 0 to 2 years and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE. These roles offer a wide range of high-quality commercial dispute resolution work, including exposure to clients in diverse sectors including Technology and Telecoms, Diversified Industrials, Transport, Food & Beverage, Retail and Energy. The successful candidates will not only handle some of their own matters (under PQE-appropriate supervision for the NQ to 2 years role) but they will also assist the Partners and wider team on larger matters. The team acts for major public and private sector clients including plc’s, large retailers, utilities and government departments. The Disputes team is a centre of excellence for several specialisms, including product liability, technology and telecoms disputes, public procurement, regulated energy and project-related proceedings and international arbitration, as well as more general commercial dispute work (warranty and misrepresentation claims, defamation and supply chain, shareholder and partnership disputes). The successful candidates must be keen to get involved with the business development and networking activities of the department.
