My client, the UK’s leading Diagnostic Medical Pathology organisation are looking for an IT Helpdesk Manager on an initial 8-month FTC. Main duties for the IT Helpdesk Manager include (but not restricted to) Manage helpdesk team members such as perform annual reviews, training plans are produced and reviewed on a monthly re occurrence. Assist in the recruitment process for new members of staff in the team Weekly meetings with IT Ops managers and the CIO to provide updates and work on KPI’s for helpdesk tickets realised. Produce reports and stats when required for IT Dept. Ensure excellent communication and feedback is provided at all time to customers in relations to their logged IT issues. Budget control and awareness to cover IT office admin when required. Candidates suitable for the IT Helpdesk Manager must have 3 years’ experience in helpdesk and incident management ideally with a small to medium sized team. Excellent written and verbal communication is key and to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft word & Excel. Able to take minutes and report writing. A little bit more about my client. They are the largest independent medically led laboratory diagnostic services in the UK.
